Tramst – How To Play?

Tramst - How To Play?

Goal of the Game: Point as many passengers as possible to the right streetcar or subway within the time. Each level has a maximum of 40 passengers and lasts 90 seconds.

The matrix board shows the next streetcars and metros, the number of passengers and remaining time to departure. Each streetcar or metro can carry a maximum of four passengers.

The streetcars and metros on the matrix board correspond to the stops in the game from top to bottom. If the stops are plotted horizontally, the left stop corresponds to the top one and the right one to the bottom one. Some levels have four stops instead of two; these levels have an extra button to move to a higher or lower level.

The game begins with three passengers in the hand. Once these are pointed to a stop, the hand is replenished with three new passengers, until less than three passengers remain in the pot.

Each passenger card contains the following details: Line number: the streetcar or subway the passenger is supposed to catch, Maximum number of points: number of points earned if the passenger catches the correct streetcar or subway, Minimum number of points: number of points earned if the passenger catches another streetcar or subway. This can also be zero or a negative number of points.

Each line goes in two directions indicated by an A or B. Some passengers have a destination that they can reach only with a specific direction. In that case, the passenger card shows a direction in addition to a line number. If the passenger takes a streetcar or subway in the wrong direction then the minimum number of points counts.

Central and South Station can be reached by multiple connections. If a streetcar or subway stops there, the direction on the matrix board reads (via CS) / (via ZS) after the direction. If a passenger needs to go there it says CS or ZS instead of the line number on the passenger ticket.

Click on a passenger and then on the stop to point them to their correct streetcar or subway. Once a passenger is waiting at a stop, they cannot be moved. If there is no covered stop, click on the platform.

There is space to put a passenger on hold until the right streetcar or subway arrives. Click on a passenger and then left click on the gray wait box. Once a passenger is on hold, no second passenger can be put on hold until the first one is pointed to the correct streetcar or subway.

When the 90 seconds are up, all points are added up to a final score. If there are still passengers waiting after 90 seconds, one last ride rides. These points still count.
